About US

Our Story

MHR-Press-Kit-112018-1.png

We grow Moruga Hill Rice All-Natural and Non-Genetically Modified (non-GMO) grains under eco-friendly and organic conditions on the lush, rolling hills of temperate Moruga, Trinidad.

Moruga Hill Rice is a dry-land Caribbean Wild Rice that thrives under various soil conditions, even those that are less than ideal, plus it uses less of our valuable water resources.

This precious grain may hold a valuable key to addressing global warming and related challenges, most notably global food sustainability issues.

CLIENT TESTIMONIAL

We take pride in our products from the seed to the shelf!

I'm very pleased to have access to such a product and urge everyone to give it a try. The brand is certainly one I highly recommend also, due to their professionalism and interest in the heritage of their product. They go above and beyond to preserve the natural goodness of the rice as indigenous food and its ability to also improve our diets in a healthier manner. Overall, I absolutely love it!
